Energy & Transport
At AirClim, we advocate for an energy- and transport-efficient society built on renewable energy sources.
Creating a truly sustainable energy system requires both a shift in energy sources and a reduction in energy consumption. Before meeting energy needs with renewables—primarily solar and wind power—we must first minimize overall energy demand. The recent energy crisis has highlighted the urgent need for rapid expansion of renewable energy alongside improved energy efficiency. Additionally, sustainable flexibility solutions play a crucial role in the energy system of the future, including battery and hydrogen storage (from renewable sources only), demand-side flexibility, and efficient grid expansion and interconnection.
AirClim focuses on EU policies, directives, and strategies—monitoring developments, raising awareness, and advocating for measures that support energy efficiency, renewable energy, and a high-capacity electricity grid.
Beyond the EU, we work to share knowledge—especially with environmental organizations and stakeholders in Eastern Europe and developing countries—to support these regions in shaping sustainable energy policies.
